Life has its ups and downs. Some chapters end, some people leave, some relationships break, and sometimes we find ourselves starting all over again. ❤️🩹
I really thought I would stay in this version of myself forever. I thought I had finally figured it all out. But life had other plans, and once again, I had to grow, change, let go, and rediscover myself.
And maybe that’s the beauty of life: we are not meant to stay the same forever. We are allowed to outgrow old versions of ourselves, even the ones we once fought so hard to become.
One thing I keep learning is that self-love is not egoism, and it’s not narcissism. It’s knowing your worth without believing you’re worth more than others. It’s having empathy, understanding people, and being kind — but also knowing where to draw the line.
You can love people without losing yourself.
You can understand someone without accepting everything they do.
You can have a good heart and still have boundaries.
You can forgive and still walk away.
You can care deeply and still choose yourself.
Self-love means knowing that your heart matters, too. ❤️
So, no matter how many times life makes you start over, how many times you fall apart or have to rebuild yourself, don’t forget to come back to YOU.
Be kind. Stay empathetic. Keep your heart open. But never abandon yourself just to keep someone else comfortable.
And most importantly, never forget to love yourself — in every version, through every ending, and with every new beginning. ✨🤍
