  • Two museums, two completely different worlds — Hamburger Bahnhof and the Samurai Museum in Berlin. 🎨⚔️ And somehow, they reminded me of something much more personal. I don’t want to compare my journey to someone else’s. There will always be people who are ahead of me, doing things differently, or achieving things faster. But their path is not mine. So I’m learning to look at what genuinely inspires me, what makes me curious, what I enjoy — and where I want to go. Not trying to be better than anyone else. Just trying to become a little more myself. Focus on what I like. Focus on what I want to achieve.   • I’ve been thinking about Japan a lot since yesterday. When I heard about the earthquake in Kumamoto, the first thing I did was call my parents in Nagasaki and my friend in Fukuoka. Thankfully, they’re all okay, and I’m so grateful for that. But my heart really goes out to everyone who has been affected. I can’t imagine how frightening it must be to experience something like this, especially with aftershocks and so much uncertainty. I’m keeping everyone in Kumamoto and the surrounding areas in my thoughts. I truly hope those who have been affected receive the help they need and that things begin to get better soon.   • Latin Food & Dance Festival 💃🌮 I tried Colombian food for the first time at Cali Papi, and it was really good! 🇨🇴😋 I also bought pão de queijo and a caramel bomba to take home — both were so good 😊 The caramel bomba even reminded me of sweets I used to have in Japan. I wanted to try the tacos and quesadillas too, but the queue was long and then it started raining heavily 🌧️ So I went home before I could try more. I’ve been thinking about Japan a lot since yesterday. When I heard about the earthquake in Kumamoto, the first thing I did was call my parents in Nagasaki and my friend in Fukuoka. Thankfully, they’re all okay, and I’m so grateful for that. But my heart really goes out to everyone who has been affected. I can’t imagine how frightening it must be to experience something like this, especially with aftershocks and so much uncertainty.
